Aéropostale is a teen-based clothing chain that is also known as Aéro. There are over 700 Aéropostale stores throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Background

Aerpostale opened its first store in New York City in 1987. The name originated from a Latin-American airmail firm called Compagnie Generale Aéropostale. It is a mall-based retailer, that markets mainly to 14 to 17-year old men and women. It also markets through its Jimmy'Z Surf Co. brand. Aeropostale is the third largest retailer to the teen demographic, trailing American Eagle Outfitters, and Abercrombie & Fitch in net sales.
