There is a possibility that advanced nuclear blueprints were smuggled and sold to terrorist organizations or "treacherous regimes", according to a report by The Washington Post.

Background
The smuggling group operated out of Pakistan. The ringleader, Abdul Qadeer Khan remains under house arrest for selling secrets to Libya, North Korea and Iran. He was pardoned by Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf in 2004. -
