Advance Wars: Dual Strike Gameplay
In Advance Wars: Dual Strike, the player controls an army of military units and micromanages them through a series of turn-based battles. Units are controlled on a top-down battle grid. The player takes turns moving their units, attacking, gathering resources, capturing buildings and ultimately attempting to take over the enemy's military base. One of the game's new units is the "megatank," a large tank with extremely powerful ammo but limited mobility and ammunition. Additionally, there are elite units called Commanding Officers (COs). The COs each have two special abilities. After the CO has absorbed enough energy, they can unleash one of their abilities on the enemy.GameSpot: Advance Wars: Dual Strike Review
