2008 Fines
Wilson made news in October of 2008 for a helmet-to-helmet on Buffalo Bills quarterback Trent Edwards, causing Edwards to leave the game with a concussion. During a November 16, 2008, game, Wilson sacked Seattle Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck causing a loss of nine yards. Although no penalty was issued for the hit, the league reviewed the hit to see if a fine would be issued. Football Career
Following three seasons with the NC State Wolfpack football team in college, Wilson declared for the NFL draft in 2001. He was selected 64th overall by the Arizona Cardinals and made his debut with the team later that year. Wilson saw his statistically best season in 2005, recording 109 tackles and eight sacks. In 2006, he was selected to play in his first Pro Bowl.
