Adrian Pasdar

American actor Adrian Pasdar plays Nathan Petrelli in the NBC series Heroes. Pasdar auditioned for Top Gun at the age of 19 and impressed the film's director Tony Scott so much that the part of "Chipper" was written just for him. Several other roles followed, including a part in the cult vampire movie Near Dark. Pasdar appeared in other supporting roles on television and film and in 1999 directed the independent film Cement, a contemporary re-telling of Othello. From 2003 through 2005 Pasdar played David McClaren on the long-running CBS drama Judging Amy.
