Adrian Exley died when a sadomasochistic bondage session caused him to suffocate. Exley had traveled to the U.S. to see Gary LeBlanc on April 20, 2006, with whom he had, allegedly, agreed to roleplay "master" and "slave." A third man, Scott Vincent, discovered Exley dead and bound in a cupboard. Vincent and LeBlanc buried Exley's body and discarded his identification. LeBlanc detailed his responsibility in the bondage session in a suicide note, then shot himself. Exley's family is now taking legal action against LeBlanc's estate.
