Adrian Dantley is a former
NBA small forward. He played 15 years in the NBA, seven of which for the
Utah Jazz. After winning rookie of the year for the Buffalo Braves Dantley was traded around the NBA until he landed at the
Utah Jazz roster. While playing for the Jazz, Dantley established himself as a prolific scorer, leading the league twice in scoring and averaging over 30 points-per-game between 1981 and 1984. Dantley retired from the NBA in 1991. In 2008 it was announced that he is being entered into the
Basketball Hall of Fame with the class of 2008.
