Adonal Foyle
Adonal Foyle was born on March 9th, 1975 in Canouan, St. Vincent and the Grenadines. He was adopted at the age of 15 by Joan and Jay Mandle who are professors at Colgate University. He has one younger brother and two older sisters. He attended High School at Hamilton Central School located in Hamilton, New York. Adonal did not play organized basketball until he was 16 years old. He helped the Knights win their first two state championships. He then went on to play basketball for the Colgate University and became a historic player. He was the all-time leader in rebounds and 2nd all-time in scoring. Despite playing only three college seasons he left as the all-time leader in blocks at 492. To this day however, he is ranked third in all time blocks at the college level. After his junior year he entered the NBA draft and got selected eighth overall by the Golden State Warriors in 1997.
Adonal Foyle 2008-09 Season
In the 2008-2009 season it was the last time Adonal Foyle made an appearance in the NBA. He appeared in 10 games with the Orlando Magic and the Memphis Grizzlies. During those 10 games with both teams he averaged 1.7 points per game, 2.6 rebounds a game in just over 6 minutes a game. With Orlando he averaged 1.9 points per game, 2.9 rebounds in 6.6 minutes a game while making two postseason appearances. In those games he averaged 2.0 minutes. On April 13th against Milwaukee he tallied a season high 10 points and 9 rebounds. He was on the inactive list for 29 times and DNP-CD 27 times for his entire 2008-2009 season.

Adonal Foyle has many other interests other than basketball. His plays soccer, tennis, and likes track and field. He also loves to write poems and loves doing fundraisers. Fundraisers such as Kerosene Lamp, Democracy Matters, and helps raise money for tragedies such as Hurricane Ivan, in which he raised over 100,000 dollars.
