Adobe Creative Suite is a collection of computer programs that are made by Adobe Systems Incorporated. Computer artists and designers use these programs to create digital art and complex digital movies, presentations, and game elements. Art that is created with Adobe programs can be viewed and integrated on computers that run many different operating systems.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQjCkFaqcvc
History of Adobe Creative Suite
A key element in the Adobe Creative Suite is Adobe Photoshop. This program has been used to edit and manipulate digitized photographs since 1988. Amateur photographer Glenn Knoll and his sons Thomas Knoll and John Knoll started development of Photoshop in 1984, on the MacIntosh Computer. They had a vision of a computer program that could manipulate photos the way photographers do in the darkroom. They sold 200 copies of Photoshop bundled with a slide scanner by BarneyScan before Adobe gave them a licensing agreement and shipped Photoshop 1.0 in February of 1990.http://www.storyphoto.com/multimedia/multimedia_photoshop.html
Over the next thirteen years, Adobe developed and introduced so many other graphic design programs that in 2003 Adobe decided to bundle them all into Adobe Creative Suite.
Adobe Creative Suite Buying Guide
The different versions of the Adobe Creative Suite have different components. The master collection has all the components. The production premium version doesn't have InDesign, Acrobat, Flash Builder, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, or Contribute. Customers should look carefully at the list of components and not just at the price when making buying decisions.http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/compare/
Adobe Creative Suite 5 Demonstration
This video demonstrates how Adobe Creative Studio 5 can move elements of a photograph, edit only those elements, and fill in the background with what would have been there if the photo element never existed. The narrator moves a horse and the program fills in the tree limbs and fence parts that would have appeared in the photo where the horse was.
