The artist Adele is a singer songwriter. She won the Mercury Prize in 2008, signed with Columbia Records and has been touring internationally ever since. Her first studio album is entitled 19.
Adele won the 2009 Grammy Award for Best New Artist, and was nominated for Song Of The Year, Record Of The Year and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
