Adam Yauch, also known as MCA, is a member of the music group the Beastie Boys.
On July 20, 2009, Yauch announced that the upcoming Beastie Boys concerts and album would be postponed while he undergoes treatment for cancer. He noticed a tumor in his throat and testing revealed cancer in his perotic gland and in his lymph nodes.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7CH3M7cECI
