• Adam West, Choreographer?

  The Batman TV series of which Adam West was the star was known for being extemely campy, but one of the campiest moment in the show's run was when West (as Batman) did a strange dance called the Batusi. Although there are various theories, it is not certain who invented the Batusi. West claims credit for the silly dance, saying that unique moves were conceptualized and executed by him. No matter who invented it, the dance's few performances are well-remembered, and form part of the image left by the television show and West's role in it.
