• Adam Savage is a special effects artist and co-host of the Mythbusters television show. Each week he and his partner Jamie Hyneman try to prove common urban myths true or false. They are aided by assistants Kari Byron, Tory Belleci, Grant Imahara.

  Before becoming a television host, Savage was a child actor, and appeared on Sesame Street and various commercials. He went on to become a designer, carpenter, and animator. Ultimately he met Hyneman who asked him to be part of his television program.
