  • Adam Sandler is an American comedian, actor and musician, who got his big break on the NBC sketch comedy show, Saturday Night Live. On the show, Sandler was known for his characters, "Opera Man," "Cajun Man," "Hank Gelfand" (the old grumpy husband), and "Canteen Boy". He was also known for doing impressions of Bruce Springsteen, Pauly Shore and Axl Rose, in addition to writing his own songs and performing them on Weekend Update. The most famous of these songs was the "Hannukah Song."

In addition to comedy films, Sandler also appeared in some dramas such as Paul Thomas Anderson's 2002 film Punch Drunk Love and the 2007 film, Reign Over Me.
