Adam is a film that follows the pursuit of woman by her neighbor, a man with Asperger Syndrome. The love story stars Hugh Dancy and Rose Byrne. Fox Searchlight purchased the distribution rights for the film on January 19, 2009, at the Sundance Film Festival. The film was purchased just after Black Dynamite, which sold for $2 million.
