Sources claim AT&T provided phones with free text-messaging and even gave lessons in how to power vote at parties in Arkansas for Allen.   MTV.com reported on April 14, 2009, that Lambert was up for the lead role in the Broadway Spider-Man Musical titled Turn Off The Dark. However, Lambert was unable to audition for the role as he was already involved in American Idol.
