  • Iraq War veteran and Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) member Adam Kokesh protested during John McCain's acceptance speech at the 2008 Republican National Convention. During McCain's speech, Kokesh brandished a sign that read "McCain Votes Against Vets" and shouted, "Ask him why he votes against vets!"
