Adam Hughes is an American comic book artist.
Career
At the age of 19, Adam Hughes started his career by doing the artwork for the 1987 Adventure Publications title Death Hawk. He was later signed by DC to work on Justice League of America comics.
One of the founding members of the freelance comic book artists group Gaijin Studios, Hughes perfected his technique as a cover artist while working at Dark Horse Comics. In the late 1990s, he did a series of covers for popular DC characters Wonder Woman and Catwoman.
Slated to write and illustrate the 2008 All Star Wonder Woman series, Hughes has gradually become a vital contributor to the character's recent history.
