Adam Duritz is the founding member and lead singer for the Counting Crows. Early in his music career he performed with The Himalayans a band from the San Francisco Bay area. He also has worked with bands such as Dashboard Confessional, the Wallflowers and Ryan Adams. Adam has also suffered from bouts of Depression and a Dissociative Identity Disorder during his career. However he and the band continue to tour and produce albums, their latest album is Saturday Nights and Sunday Mornings.
