Across The Universe is an Academy Award-nominated film musical by Julie Taymor, that interprets 33 Beatles songs.

The story begins in the 1960s with Jude (Jim Sturgess) traveling by ship from England to the United States to find his father. While in Princeton, he befriends Max (Joe Anderson) and Max's sister Lucy (Evan Rachel Wood), and the three embark on a journey of self-discovery during the Vietnam war in this coming-of-age tale.
