According to Jim is a sitcom about a man and his extended family in suburban Chicago, Illinois.

The show had been a steady performer for ABC. Though initially left out of their proposed lineup for Fall 2007, the show was picked up for a seventh season. As of May 2008 ABC has officially picked up the show for an eighth season, but will be moving it to Monday evenings (time TBD).
