14-year-old Abigail Judith Fogle has been missing since Saturday January 17, 2009. She was last seen leaving her house in the Friedan's area Somerset County, Pennsylvania around midnight with her uncle and getting into a car with some other people. Neither she nor her uncle has been seen or heard from since.
State police said Abigail was seen getting into one of two cars, where at least two other people were seen, including the teenager's uncle, Mark Allen Suter, age 41. Police believe that Suter may have been driving a Dodge Neon with Pennsylvania license plates DAJ-7173, registered to a Central City address. The other vehicle is believed to be a type of sports utility type vehicle. Witnesses were unable to recognize either the driver or passengers in that car.
The police have interviewed a number of people who they feel may be connected with the girl's disappearance. The suspects face criminal charges including interference with custody of a child and concealing the whereabouts of a child, according to State Trooper Ted Goins.
