Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad

  • Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad is the suspected perpetrator of a deadly shooting spree outside of Arkansas's Army-Navy Career Center. An Islamic convert, officials say that Muhammad had both "political and religious motives" in the shooting which killed Pvt. William Long.

    On June 2, 2009, Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad pleaded not guilty to charges of capitol murder.

    Born and raised in Tennessee as Carlos Bledsoe, 23-year-old Muhammad had been under FBI investigation since returning from a trip to Yemen. His path to radicalization is not yet known.
