Abbey Curran is Miss Iowa 2008. Curran was born with Cerebral Palsy. She is the first Miss USA contestant ever with cerebral palsy of any disability aside from a contestant being hearing impaired.
She has a non-profit pageant for girls and women with special needs and challenges called "The Miss You Can Do It Pageant".
Her answers in the interview portion, according to State Pageant Director Jim Clingman, is what clinched the title for her.
