The body of 14 year old Aarushi Talwar was found on May 16, 2008.
She was found with her throat slit and several stab wounds to her face.
On May 23, 2008, Rajesh Talwar, Aarushi Talwar's father, was arrested and charged with the murder of his daughter and Hemraj, the family's servant.

Murder and Motive
Rajesh Talwar was having an affair with a fellow doctor. He took Hemraj out to the terrace and hit him over the head and then slit his throat. The body was covered with the cover from the water cooler.
