Aaron Rodgers is a National Football League quarterback who plays for the Green Bay Packers. Rodgers became the Packers' starting quarterback following the trade of Brett Favre to the New York Jets prior to the start of the 2008 season.
Rodgers suffered a sprain to his right shoulder on September 28, 2008, but continued as the Packers starter for the 2008 season. Football Career
Aaron Rogers was drafted by the Packers in 2005 to be the eventual successor to Brett Favre. The Packers went 4-12 during the 2005 season with Rodgers spending most of his time on the bench. Favre decided to return in 2006, leaving Rodgers to resume his backup role.
