Aaron McKie is a former professional basketball player for the Memphis Grizzlies of the National Basketball Association.
Early Life
Aaron Fitzgerald McKie was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on October 2, 1972, and he went on to attend Simon Gratz High School. He continued his education at Temple University. Pro Career
In his first season with the Trail Blazers, McKie appeared in 45 games for the team. He was traded to the Detroit Pistons in 1997. The following season he was traded again to the Philadelphia 76ers. He enjoyed his best season in the 2000-2001 campaign, when he appeared in 76 contests and averaged 11.6 points per game. In 2005, McKie signed with the Los Angeles Lakers. He was traded again in 2008, in the deal that brought Pau Gasol to the Los Angeles Lakers.
