Aaron Maybin was a starting defensive end for the Penn State Nittany Lions football team during the 2008 season.

Maybin was selected 11th overall in the 2009 NFL draft by the Buffalo Bills on April 25, 2009. He was ranked sixth overall and first for his position going into the NFL Draft.NFL.com: Aaron Maybin

Maybin redshirted in 2006, his freshman year at Penn State University. In 2008, Maybin was named the starting defensive end for the Nittany Lions and went on to lead the Big 10 Conference in sacks with 12 and was second in the conference with 20 tackles for loss. The same season, he was named to the All-Big Ten and All-American first teams and was a finalist for both the Hendricks and Bednarik Awards.
