  • Football Career

    Maybin redshirted in 2006, his freshman year at Penn State University. In 2008, Maybin was named the starting defensive end for the Nittany Lions and went on to lead the Big 10 Conference in sacks with 12 and was second in the conference with 20 tackles for loss. The same season, he was named to the All-Big Ten and All-American first teams and was a finalist for both the Hendricks and Bednarik Awards. At the close of the 2008, season, Maybin opted to skip his final two seasons with the Nittany Lions and declared his entry into the 2009 NFL draft.ESPN: Aaron Maybin
