Aaron Hill 2009 Season
Aaron Hill's 2009 was not only impressive statistically overall, but more so that Hill plays second base, a position that doesn't produce highly offensively talented players. Hill's batting average was a respectable .286, with 36 home runs (3rd in the entire American League) and 108 runs batted in (5th in the American League). Hill also had 195 hits (5th in the American League) as well as 106 runs scored (6th in the AL). These statistical numbers were all career highs for the rising star, as he represented the Blue Jays in the MLB All Star Game, and was voted Blue Jays MVP.
