Aaron Carter is an American actor. He was born on December 7, 1987 in Tampa, Florida. His brother, Nick Carter, is a member of the pop band Backstreet Boys. The actor also has three sisters named Angel, BJ and Leslie. Carter is a talented musician and can play the guitar, saxophone, drums, and piano. He released his first single in late 1997 titled "Crush on You." Carter has been romantically linked to actresses Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan. He later became engaged to model Kari Ann Peniche, but the couple has since split.
After finding out about the death of his friend Michael Jackson, Aaron went to the studio and did a live webcast performance of a song he wrote in Michael's memory. During the webcast he wore a silver sequin jacket given to him by Michael in 2001.
On August 17, 2009 it was announced that Aaron Carter would join the ninth season of Dancing With The Stars.TVGuide:[1] (August 17, 2009) -
Acting Career
Carter has appeared in the television shows Lizzie McGuire, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch and 7th Heaven. In April of 2001, Carter performed on Broadway in the production of Seussical the Musical. His more recent works include Family Affair, Fat Albert, Popstar, Supercross, House of Carters, I Want Someone to Eat Cheese With and Grand Stand. -
Arrest
Carter was arrested on February 21, 2008 for the alleged possession of marijuana. The marijuana was found when the actor was pulled over by an officer in Kimble County, Texas for speeding. -
