Synopsis
With his sleigh damaged by the conniving North Wind, Santa Claus crashes and hurts his back. Snow and Heat Miser must stop arguing long enough to take over Santa's job, before Christmas is ruined. -
The Miser Brothers
The characters were introduced in the 1974 Rankin-Bass Christmas special A Year Without a Santa Claus and in the 2006 remake of the same name. The step-brothers, Snow and Heat are as opposite as their names proclaim. Constantly battling one another due to an extreme case of sibling rivalry, they almost cause Santa Claus to refuse to deliver Christmas gifts.Snow and Heat Miser were played by Michael McKean and Harvey Fierstein in 2006 and were voiced by Dick Shawn and George S. Irving in 1974.
