Based on the book by his wife Mariane Pearl, the 2007 film A Mighty Heart chronicles the frantic search for Wall Street Journal journalist Daniel Pearl following his disappearance in Pakistan.
Pearl finds out her husband was kidnaped by a terrorist cell that backed the Pakinistani warlord Omar Sheikh. With aid from from the U.S. Justice Department, Pearl ultimately discovers the fate of her husband. She and her child then must deal with the fall out.
