A Magnanimous Benefactor is the name of a World of Warcraft quest, and is a part of the content included in the "Fury of the Sunwell" 2.4 Patch update. In order to start the quest you must first travel to the Sunwell Isle, in the Eastern Kingdom north of Silvermoon City. Once there, speak with Anchorite Kairthos (a male Draenei) at the inn at Sun's Reach Harbor. To complete the quest, donate 1000 Gold to Anchorite Kairthos, who explains that the gold will go towards the charitable causes of Anchorite Ayuri. Anchorite Ayuri is an NPC from a previous quest called A Charitable Donation, who requested a 10 Gold donation to put towards the Monument of the Fallen. You reward for completing A Magnanimous Benefactor is +500 Reputation, and you will gain the title of "NAME of the Shattered Sun."

The Magnanimous Benefactor quest is a part of Phase 4 A, but can still be activated after you have put money towards the Monument to the Fallen, which activates Phase 4 B.
