Meet Author A.J. Walkley
Alison "A.J." Walkley is the author of Queer Greer and Choice. She won the Barnes and Noble Rising Star Award for Choice in 2009, allowing it to be placed prominently in bookstores across the east coast.A.J. is currently working on a book and screenplay based on the life of Elizabeth Burke, an inmate in Texas. The author began a correspondence with Burke in 2009 that has grown into a much larger project. After much research, A.J. believes Burke may be innocent of her alleged crime - the murder of her seven-week-old son - and is now also trying to secure her a retrial.

Additional Information
A.J. Walkley was born and raised in Connecticut. She attended Dickinson College in Pennsylvania for literature, creative writing and film studies, graduating in 2007. Thereafter, she joined the U.S. Peace Corps and left for Malawi, Africa as a health volunteer.A.J. lives in Santa Monica, CA.
