A.J. Jacobs is a journalist and author, who performs sociological experiments on himself and others and then writes about his experiences. The results of his most recent experiment, living according to the rules of The Bible for one year, can be found in his new book, The Year of Living Biblically.
Career
AJ Jacobs began his career by reading an entire set of encyclopedias then writing about his experience trying to digest and share his knowledge. He detailed his journey in the book The Know-It-All in 2005. After his debut work, Jacobs was a freelance writer then ultimately an editor for Esquire. Jacobs' latest book The Year of Living Biblically was published in 2008 and the movie rights for the project have been optioned.
