A Few Good Men is based on a 1989 play by Aaron Sorkin. Sorkin also wrote the screenplay for the film, which was directed by Rob Reiner and released in December of 1992. The movie stars actors Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson and Demi Moore.
Plot Summary
Lt. Daniel Kaffee is a Navy lawyer who is assigned to defend two Marines who have been accused of murdering their colleague. Kaffee, known for settling cases before they get to court, is aided by Lt. Cmdr. Galloway. As the court marshal proceeds, Kaffee and Galloway realize the case is more complicated than it seemed, and they will have to proceed to trial in order to see justice done.
