Fourth novel in the A Song of Ice and Fire series. The factions reach an uneasy truce, but it's just a preparation for a worst nightmare. Who will rule as the new king?
This novel was split in two books, the first being A Feast for Crows and the Second A Dance With Dragons so in this novel only half of the characters from a A Storm of Swords are present and in the same way, in the upcoming A Dance with Dragons only the characters not shown in A Feast for Crows will appear.
