A Charitable Donation is the name of a quest in World of Warcraft. The quest is one of the "Daily Quests" a part of the 2.4 Patch content pack, titled "Fury of the Sunwell." In order to activate the quest, you must travel to Sunwell Isle north of Silvermoon City, and speak with Anchorite Ayuri (a female Draenei) at Sun's Reach. The goal of the quest is to merely make a "charitable donation" of 10 gold to Anchorite Ayuri, which will go towards a memorial project for the lost warriors who fought to secure Sun's Reach for the Shattered Sun Offensive. Your reward for making such a large donation is +150 Reputation.
Phase 4 Specifics
A Charitable Donation is a part of Phase 4 (A) of the Shattered Sun Offensive content. When you have funded the Monument to the Fallen, Phase 4 (B) is initiated, and A Charitable Donation is replaced with the quest Your Continued Support.
