A Beautiful Mind is a dramatic film and true story based on the life of American mathematician John Forbes Nash. The film was released in 2001, directed by Ron Howard, and written by Akiva Goldsman.
Plot

John Forbes Nash is a genius in the mathematical world, but begins to show signs or paranoid schizophrenia, lapsing into moments of hallucination, all while his friends and family watch helplessly. After years of struggling to overcome his delusions he finds a way to cope and deal with what God gave him, leading him to win the Nobel Prize.
