Plot
Worthington Labs has developed a drug that will suppress the X-gene, giving the ability to "cure" mutants. While some of the mutants are excited to try to drug, others do not want anything to do with it. During X-Men 2 it was believed that Jean Gray had been killed, but Cyclops, Wolverine and Storm find her unconscious on rocks. Jean turns out to have turned against the X-Men, she destroys her family's house, disintegrates Xavier and leaves with Magneto. The mutants have a battle, with bad verses good at the compound for the Labs where they are holding the boy that helped create the cure. Wolverine traps Jean, who begs to save her. Wolverine tells her that he loves her and then kills her with his claws. Although Xavier is no longer with them, the X-Men continue their school for mutants.
