Wyoming Vacation

Wyoming is one of the largest states in the United States, but also one of the least populated. It's situated in western part of the country and is home to both Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park.

National Parks

Yellowstone National Park is one of Wyoming's main attractions. It's the country's "first"¹ national park and is home to Old Faithful, a "widely recognized geyser,"² hot springs and two waterfalls that drop the Yellowstone river "over 400 feet."² Wildlife includes, but isn't limited too, grizzly bears, wolves, bison, buffalo and elk.¹ Activities in the park range from hiking and camping to "llama packing" and fishing.³ There are also organized tours, fishing, hiking and biking trips through a third party.⁴

Grand Teton National Park, "home to one of the most recognizable mountain landscapes in the world,"¹ is situated "just south" of Yellowstone.¹ The mountain range in the park is "popular"² with climbers, hikers and even photographers. The area is home to a "spectacular landscape"¹ with "pristine"¹ lakes and over "sixty species of mammals"² and over "300 species of birds."² At the base of the Teton mountain rage is Jackson Hole, where some well-known people actually have homes: Harrison Ford and Dick Cheney are just two.
