WoW Voice Chat
In patch 2.2 for World of Warcraft, players will be allowed to chat with each other using a voice system instead of typing their chat. In a voice chat, players are allowed to use a microphone or headset to talk to their friends and allies. A chat interface is included in the patch, and players can set up networks, channels with their friends.
Chat preferences
Players can begin their chat in one of two ways:
Push-button: Players must hold down a button before speaking, as if it was a walkie talkie. Any key can be used as the command key to begin talking.
Voice activated: Any time the microphone picks up a sound, the chat will be activated. Players can alter the settings to a certain decibel so voice chat isn't always activated.
