- Bo Ryan is maybe the most underrated head coach at any of the programs in the major conferences. Which is why you can bet he is spending every waking moment between now and Friday's tip-off trying to figure out how to get his team mentally prepared to play Davidson. If the Georgetown loss to the the upstart Wildcats showed us anything, it's that not only can Davidson make clutch shots in the waning moments of a game, but also can force opponents completely off their own game as well. By now, everyone knows just how good a shooter Stephen Curry is, and with good reason given his lineage. For Davidson to pull yet another upset, they will need help from Curry's supporting cast. Jason Richards must be more judicious with the ball, and big man Andrew Lovedale must stay out of foul trouble. Wisconsin is easily the best defensive team left in the tournament, and offensively they are led by Trevon Hughes. His ability to dribble-penetrate the best of defenses allows for easy scores by Brian Butch and Michael Flowers. Like Michigan State, the Badgers will try to slow the tempo and prevent Davidson from putting their track shoes on. The buzz word for this game: tempo.
