Wisconsin Band Suspended
The marching band that plays at the University of Wisconsin Badgers football games has been suspended from playing at the team's upcoming game on October 4, 2008, against the Ohio State Buckeyes. The band members are accused of hazing, alcohol abuse and sexual misconduct and will remain under investigation until the allegations have been settled with the few members that caused the investigation.1

Previous Encounters
The band was put on probation in 2006 for similar citations, including making the female members of the band kiss other females to be allowed to use the restroom on the bus that takes them to games. Michael Lorenz, the assistant director of the band, quit after it was deemed that he acted inappropriately.1
