• Helen Chapel: Helen Chapel was the former fat girl turned snack counter clerk, had a love for music and a crush on Joe. She fulfilled her lust for both in the finale. Played by Crystal Bernard
• Antonio Scarpacci: Played by soon-to-be Monk star Tony Shalhoub was an immigrant to the island and drove the only taxi cab.
• Lowell Mather: Lowell was the simple but wise handy man at the airport, he was portrayed by future Oscar nominee Thomas Haden Church
