Wii MotionPlus

Nintendo announced the development of the Wii MotionPlus on July 14, 2008, prior to Microsoft's E3 press conference, upstaging the anticipated announcement of Microsoft's version of the Wiimote. A plug-on that snaps into the base of the Wii Remote, the Wii MotionPlus is expected to "more quickly and accurately reflect motions in a 3-D space."¹ Details about price or launch date were not provided. The official debut of the Wii MotionPlus will take place on July 15, 2008, during the Nintendo media briefing.
