Wii Fit was released in Japan on December 1, 2007. It was made available in the U.S. stores on May 19, 2008, and will be sold in Europe on June 1, 2008. Wii Fit is a fitness game that can be used for many different exercises, and is a part of the Wii Series of video games for the Nintendo Wii.

GamePlay

Using the Wii Balance Board, players can choice from over 40 different interactive activities. Some of these include measuring weight, yoga, push ups and other exercisers. A player stands on the board which has built in sensors to detect the various movements. The concept is exercise gaming which Nintendo hopes will encourge both kids and adults to be more active.
