WiFi Allergy

In Santa Fe, New Mexico a group of people are trying to ban WiFi signals in public places because they claim to be allergic to the wireless signal.

Allergy sufferer, Arthur Firstenberg and dozens of others are claiming that WiFi signals in public places are violating the Americans With Disabilities Act.

Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity

The allergy at the center of the issue is called "electromagnetic hypersensitivity" or EHS. EHS sufferers report a wide range of symptoms including dermatitis, fatigue, concentration issues, heart palpitations, and stomach troubles.

Controversy

The World Health Organization says that some of the the symptoms may be psychologically induced, due to the worry of the effects of electromagnetic energy, and not the exposure in itself.
