Wal-Mart has announced that it will no longer support
DRM music files on its music download Web site. As of
October 9,
2008, people who have bought music containing DRM protections must copy the files to
CD or risk losing the music. DRM is a set of technologies used to regulate the use of digital content and to prevent software and music piracy.
